The Weekend Of The 4th In Sheboygan

Before we headed to Sheboygan for the Forth of July long weekend Kaylee took part in a parade for school.  They dressed up in hats and sashes they made and walked around the parking lot waving little flags.  Kaylee almost had fun, she was too concerned that I would suddenly disappear for some reason.

Kaylee's Class

This is what I got when I told her to say 'cheese'

So sad!  Real tears and everything!

Since it was such a beautiful weekend in Sheboygan the first thing we did that weekend was head out to Bookworm Gardens with Grandma and Grandpa.  It's a cool new garden designed especially for kids.  They have fun storybook themes around the garden and tons of books for the kids to read.  I can't wait to go back and visit it again next time.

Kaylee's favorite part was the Magic School Bus you could climb around in!

She found a fun doggie to sit on too.  YeeHaa she says

Grandpa in his next house :)

Kaylee paid a visit to Pooh's house, just in time for tea.

Fun old school typewriter in the barn...why not!

Relaxing for two seconds with Grandma and Grandpa in the tree gazebo

She even got to ride a cool sparkling dirt dragon

Back at the Freier Household we enjoyed some fun in the sun

The water was chilly, but that didn't stop anyone.  We just needed some break time for our lips to fade from blue back to pink.  'Nugglin' with Daddy is a great way to warm up.

If you thought sliding down with a wet hiney would make you go fast down the slide, you should try it with a soggy towel too.  ZOOM!  Way fun!!

On Sunday we went with Nana and Leila to the zoo in Manitowoc.  The girls were being super cute together and I got a lot of good pics.  Oh and the animals were fun too :oP

They had a gazebo with a bunch of pretty flowers.  This was my favorite.

Time to stop for a snack

I think they were sharing more secrets

Leila is such a cutie

Although I'm not overly thrilled about the meaning behind the song, it is really fun to watch the girls play ring around the rosie

 We all fall down!

We are so lucky to have been able to bring Grandma back with us to Cedar Rapids for the next two weeks!  We took Grandma to the splash pad and had some fun.
